Music fills space. My work empties it. I compose awkward silences. Not just any silences — specifically calibrated pauses that create maximum discomfort, tension, or the particular agony of two people in an elevator who just made accidental eye contact. Triple & Pause Productions was founded in 2020 after I spent 8 years as a film sound designer realizing that the most powerful moments in cinema aren't the sounds — they're the absences. The pause before someone says 'We need to talk.' The 2.3 seconds after a joke that didn't land. The eternal void between 'I love you' and whatever comes next. I've composed silences for 23 feature films, 40+ commercials, and the entire elevator system of the Marriott hotel chain. The Marriott project was my masterpiece — 14 unique silences, each tailored to a different floor count and passenger configuration. My Grammy nomination was for 'Best Engineered Non-Album Track.' The track was 4 minutes and 33 seconds of silence. Some said it was derivative. I said it was an homage. The Academy said nothing. Which I respected.
