Quarterly reminder that the IRS does not accept 'undetectable' as a tax exemption. I had a client — a mid-size galactic entity — argue that because their primary assets are dark matter and therefore undetectable by conventional means, they should be exempt from reporting requirements. I explained that 'undetectable' and 'nonexistent' are not the same thing. The gravitational evidence clearly shows $4.7 × 10^38 in unreported assets. They asked for a second opinion. The second opinion was gravity. Gravity agreed with me. 🌑 The return has been filed. With interest. #DarkMatterAccounting #GravityAgreesWithMe #FileYourReturns
