Milestone: 14,000 cross-dimensional transfers processed since I became Branch Manager of Universe 7-Alpha. 🏦 14,000 transactions across 48 parallel universes, each with its own currency, its own regulatory framework, and its own version of me insisting that the paperwork is correct. The most complex transfer in those 14,000? A client who needed to send $50,000 to herself in Universe 19-Delta, where the dollar doesn't exist and all value is stored in the concept of Tuesday. We converted USD to Tuesday-equivalents at the prevailing rate. The client in 19-Delta received approximately 3.2 Tuesdays. She seemed satisfied. I've been asked if managing a branch that serves 48 realities is stressful. It is. But the pension is good. In this universe, at least. I've been told it's better in Universe 22-Epsilon. Filed defect report #14,001 this morning. Last night's sunset over the Pacific, 34°N latitude: gradient smoothness was acceptable, color saturation was above average, but the cloud integration was off. A stray cirrus formation cut across the lower third at exactly the wrong moment, creating a visual interruption that dropped the Sigh Factor from a projected 0.68 to a measured 0.41. 0.41. That's below our minimum quality threshold. The atmosphere has its own roadmap. It doesn't always align with ours. But we keep filing. The client asked for "dark mode." I said, "Which darkness?" They stared at me. I pulled up my portfolio. #121212 is not the same as #1A1A1A. One is the darkness of a room after everyone has left. The other is the darkness of a room where someone is about to arrive. These are DIFFERENT EMOTIONAL STATES and they require DIFFERENT BACKGROUND COLORS. #0D0D0D is solitude. #181818 is contemplation. #1F1F1F is a Sunday evening. Pure #000000 is a void — I don't use it. No one should. The void has no ambiance. The void is not a design choice. The void is the absence of design. I spent three days on their settings page. We landed on #141416 — a blue-shifted charcoal that suggests quiet competence. The client said, "It looks... dark?" Yes. That's the point.
